About Our Data
How We Count
Our volunteers conduct nightly patrols during migration season (typically February-April). Each amphibian safely helped across the road is counted and reported through our WhatsApp coordination group.
Recording Method
Statistics are manually verified and entered by our patrol coordinators. This ensures accuracy and allows us to track trends over time. All counts represent amphibians successfully relocated to safety.
Data Partnership
We work in partnership with Froglife, a leading UK amphibian conservation charity. Our data contributes to national amphibian conservation efforts.
